The Sox continued their opening week roadtrip with a 3 game stand against division rival Cleveland. Chris Sale got his first career start after coming out of the bullpen for the Sox the last two seasons and looked terrific. After giving up a hit in the second, he was lights out for four more innings. Shin-Soo Choo took a pitch to his left thumb at one point in the game but stayed in, stole second and was driven home by Carlos Santana but it was too late of a rally and Hector Santiago came in, allowed a home run but nailed down the save. My wife watched the first few innings with me and was not a fan of Carlos Santana's on-deck routine.
