Game two of the four game set features John Danks against Wei-Yin Chen who was making his second career start. Both pitchers had a shutout going into the sixth inning thanks to some great defense on both sides. In the sixth it was Reimold making his presence felt again with a 2 run blast to left center and then JJ Hardy came up next and hit a solo shot to the same spot for a 3 run lead. In the bottom of the sixth, AJ Pierzynski lined a double into the right field corner which drove home Morel and Konerko making it a one run game. In the ninth inning, the Sox were able to get runners on the corners before Wilson Betemit (former Sox infielder) made two great defensive plays at 3rd base to keep any runs from scoring and helping Jim Johnson nail down the save.
